POSITION SUMMARY:
The Racquet Lead will perform daily office, court & facility duties, work closely with the management. The Lead will be responsible for greeting and welcoming members and their guests. This position is a first point of contact between guests and the facility. Individuals are expected to maintain a pleasant and friendly demeanor while always providing excellent customer service.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Directly aligns with the venue's Mission Statement and Core Values
- Ensure facility users adhere to venue guidelines to provide a safe atmosphere for users and protect the facility from property damage
- Assist with administrative duties as needed such as reporting for court usage and sales, invoicing for league captains and events, tracking of product inventory
- Support updating operations manual as needed
- Respond to calls and inquiries
- Monitor the use of all courts and equipment
- Report any court or equipment defects to the management
- Carry out standard upkeep/maintenance of courts and equipment and make certain they are safe to use
- Adhere to sanitization procedures in venue
- Make sure all merchandise and equipment is safely and appropriately stored
- Perform general upkeep and other necessary tasks as needed during each shift
- Set up and tear down of equipment as needed for events, etc.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Managers on Duty
- Assist with facility and equipment closeout procedures as needed during each shift
- Additional duties as assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- Experience in a tennis facility setting
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance necessary
- Must have excellent guest service skills
- Must work well in a team environment
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
- Will be required to stand for extended periods of time indoor and outdoor
- Must have a flexible schedule (mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, etc.)
- Facility has intermittent noise
