POSITION SUMMARY:
The Racquet Administrator position will assist the Coordinator with a variety of responsibilities associated with the daily operations of the Tennis Center.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise staff including training and scheduling
- Schedule/reserve courts for all bookings (league, events, team practices, schools, members, non-members, camps, Pro lessons, clinics)
- Communicate with league captains for schedules, payments & waivers
- Track and report weekly sales, usage and contract labor pro commissions
- Follow required operations procedures
- Assist with cash handling systems, procedures and reporting
- Support updating the operations manual as needed
- Assist members and guests with scheduling and facility policies
- Maintain a clean and organized Pro Shop
- Respond to calls and inquiries
- Additional tasks assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a tennis facility setting
- Previous work experience as a staff supervisor
- Ability to work with a wide variety of ages from pre-school through adult
- Flexible work schedule (e.g. nights, weekends, holidays)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent guest service skills
- Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
- Experience with excel required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
- Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, and fellow team members
- Must work well with others
- Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
- Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others
- Must be 18 years of age or older
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
- Will be required to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to enter information on computers
- Must comply with safety and health code standards
- Facility has intermittent noise
