POSITION SUMMARY:
The Apparel Services Team Member will support all aspects of the facility's t-shirt and apparel screen printing, embroidery and apparel services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Assist Apparel Services Manager with daily tasks
- Assist customers as needed with outstanding customer service
- Implement ordering processes that result in effective cash management
- Alert management immediately regarding mistakes or adjustments to the cash drawer
- Perform basic mathematical computations
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Maintain inventory control and make certain all store merchandise is property displayed and tagged
- Assist in unloading, lifting, and carrying merchandise from trucks and storage areas, and place them in designated areas
- Inspect orders and mitigate any issues before printing
- Operate automatic and manual screen-printing presses
- Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of the press
- Other duties as assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- GED or High School diploma preferred
- Experience with screen printing equipment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of best practices for high-quality screen printing, heat transfers, and embroidery
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast paced environment
- Must be able to work under pressure and be decisive
- Must be available on weekends and nights as well as some weekdays
- Must be at least 18 years old
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time both indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions
- Will be required to operate a computer
- Facility has intermittent noise
