POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Assistant will provide general administrative support to the management team assisting with day-to-day tasks and data entry.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Receive and prepare daily cash/check deposits
  • Prepare and maintain cash banks for daily operation
  • Maintain cash controls and safe logs
  • Balance cash drawers and make bank deposits
  • Update Deposit Tracker with actual cash received daily
  • Manage task list for Finance Intern
  • Aiding the General Manager in being proactive in and continuing to keep our accounting processes and procedures compliant with both our client and our management company
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Highly professional, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
  • Experience using accounting software

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions
  • Facility has intermittent noise
