POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Assistant will provide general administrative support to the management team assisting with day-to-day tasks and data entry.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Receive and prepare daily cash/check deposits
- Prepare and maintain cash banks for daily operation
- Maintain cash controls and safe logs
- Balance cash drawers and make bank deposits
- Update Deposit Tracker with actual cash received daily
- Manage task list for Finance Intern
- Aiding the General Manager in being proactive in and continuing to keep our accounting processes and procedures compliant with both our client and our management company
- Other tasks as assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of related experience
- Highly professional, organized, and detail-oriented
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
- Experience using accounting software
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions
- Facility has intermittent noise
