The Rocky Mount Event Center is an SFM managed facility in Rocky Mount, NC which is located in the eastern part of the state. The first-class facility is comprised of 165,000 square feet that has the capacity to host the multi-courts tournament, trade shows, meetings, concerts, and community events. The facility also has 15,000 square foot family entertainment center that has a variety of interactive games, ropes course, climbing walls and other family-friendly activities.


RMCF SFM, LLC ("RMCF") is hiring a Business Manager who is responsible for all bookkeeping functions related to accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting including maintenance of the accounting systems, adherence to established policies and procedures, review of documentation for appropriate authorization, timely notification of any problems or concerns and superior customer service.

Job duties also include human resource functions such as new hire onboarding, maintaining personnel files, and scheduling. This position requires the ability to move quickly from one task to another, perform quality work in a fast-moving, deadline-sensitive environment, and still present a calm, professional demeanor to both internal and external customers and vendors.

This is an important role in our organization that will require tact, diplomacy, and a professional approach to the job. Confidentiality is absolutely critical.


  • Performs daily reconciliations of all cash and credit card transactions
  • Makes daily cash deposits and update bank ledger with daily merchant deposits
  • Records daily purchases made from company bank card
  • Knowledgeable of QuickBooks, particularly online QuickBooks
  • Reports to general manager daily reconciliations and note increases or inconsistencies in overall sales performance for the company
  • Posts weekly revenue to the general ledger from multiple POS systems
  • Receives mail and enter vendor invoices daily
  • Projects weekly cash flow analysis and project accounts payable to be paid at the beginning of every week
  • Obtains approval to issue checks to vendors for payment and mail
  • Processes new employee documents
  • Performs bi-weekly payroll for 50 - 80 employees
  • Performs monthly closing duties including but not limited to, reconciliations of all deferred revenue, prepaid expenses and deposits, wage accrual, bank reconciliations, and accounts receivable aging
  • Maintains multiple bank accounts including all bank account reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Calculates and file monthly sales tax payments


  • Minimum of 5 years responsible accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reports
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Ability to operate calculator, computer, and other general office equipment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to keep company matters strictly confidential
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Pro or Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Office
