Sports Facilities Management, LLC ("SFM") is engaged to manage the day-to-day operations of world-class, community-focused sports, entertainment and recreation facilities throughout the US.

Kingdome will be the biggest airforced dome in the country serving the biggest market in the country. As an air-supported structure we offer 347,000 square feet of unique training space for athletes, with clear spans and 162' high ceilings. Kingdome allows training opportunities for turf sport teams (baseball/softball, football, soccer, field hockey and lacrosse) as well as to individual athletes, of any sport, who desire to improve athleticism and personal leadership skills. Kingdome is home to Kingdome Baseball, Kingdome Softball, and Kingdome Soccer. Our team has developed an extraordinary model for player development that is delivered to athletes by our professional staff of coaches. At Kingdome we are dedicated to "Training Athletes Inside Out" which speaks to our training philosophy to not only provide skill training, but also develop the whole athlete. The Facility Manager will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, professional services, stock control, supply orders, routine custodial, grounds and equipment for the facility.  The Facility Manager will also ensure a suitable working environment for the organization and provide appropriate reporting, performance measurements, budgeting and leadership. 


  • Lead by example and enforce all safety regulations and guidelines both internal and industry standards
  • Manage and schedule Facility and Grounds Staff
  • Hire, train, and evaluate staff
  • Conduct periodic inspections of equipment, within the facility and grounds to ensure a safe and efficient operation
  • Ensure facility and grounds meet health and safety requirements
  • Provide reports and assist in creating policies and procedures
  • Accountable for equipment inventory and maintenance
  • Responsible for developing associated budgets and forecasting of costs
  • Develop positive vendor and service provider relationships
  • Provide essential training to staff for equipment use and inspections
  • Assist with field and court preparations are required


  • Must have advance knowledge of commercial facilities inclusive of HVAC, electrical, suppression systems and kitchen equipment
  • Must have experience working with synthetic turf sports fields, sports facilities and associated grounds and equipment
  • General knowledge of maintenance, janitorial & landscaping
  • Prior responsibility in managing a daily P&L, management and budget oversight
  • Associates degree or related degree/certificate to the position
  • At least three (3) years of related experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Must be a team player with a positive can do attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent management and scheduling abilities for outside vendors & contractors
  • Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, audio/visual.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to obtain CPR/FIRST AID certifications within a specific time period


  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds' waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
  • Will be required to operate a computer
  • Facility has intermittent noise
