The facility provides an atmosphere of community to sports clubs, event organizers, and participants and will focus on five principle offerings: 

  • Youth sports training programs, clinics, and camps

  • Fun, affordable, family entertainment and food & beverage
  • Facility rental for corporate meetings and social gathering events

POSITION SUMMARY

The Facility Maintenance Team Member will assist the Facility Manager with the daily upkeep of the facility's buildings, grounds and event production. This position will generally involve the performance of manual tasks requiring skilled or special knowledge acquired through on-the-job training or experience. The Facility Maintenance Team Member will provide supervision of and aid team members in the completion of various tasks and day-to-day maintenance duties as required.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Facility Maintenance Tasks 

  • Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility
  • Inventory, organize, and stock up closets, toolboxes and maintenance areas
  • Coordinate cleaning schedule around daily activities
  • Have knowledge of building internals (HVAC systems, alarm systems, etc.)
  • Manage utilities (lights, temperature controls, heaters, etc.)
  • Maintain and repair playing surfaces
  • Schedule and perform maintenance on facility equipment
  • Coordinate with Managers on facility repairs to avoid conflict

Grounds Maintenance

  • Monitor overall appearance and cleanliness of the building and turf fields
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair work with managers and contractors to avoid conflicts and maximize usage of facilities
  • Operate and maintain sports equipment
  • Maintenance and repair of turf fields, soccer goals, lacrosse goals, basketball goals, volleyball nets, and event floor
  • Operate machinery to include but not limited to all equipment
  • Keep inventory of supplies and equipment as well as maintenance logs
  • Make sure all paperwork is up to date
  • Complete special projects and daily assignments as directed by Facility Operations Manager 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • General knowledge of maintenance, janitorial & landscaping
  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification requirement
  • Understand and follow both oral and written instructions
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Effective time management skills
  • Prior experience using maintenance equipment and procedures
  • 1 to 2 years' experience in general facility maintenance
  • Candidate must be available and willing to work long hours and varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Possess or ability to obtain a valid Driver's License 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Will be required to perform heavy lifting 
  • Will be required to work in all weather conditions
  • Will be required to paint, clean equipment, and safely handle chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol forms
  • Will be required to work in conditions that will create dirt and dust
  • Will be required to perform essential maintenance to facility or equipment which may involve but are not limited to the following activities: semi reaching to full-reach overhead; crouching; kneeling; shoveling; working in narrow and/or confining spaces: underground, overhead, and at ground level; twisting of the waist, shoulders, and legs; and lying on stomach and/or back
  • Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods of time
  • Ability to climb elevated areas to complete tasks
  • Facility has intermittent noise
