KITCHEN STAFF TEAM MEMBER

STATUS:                              PART-TIME

 

CPSC SFM, LLC ("CPSC") is accepting applications for the position of Kitchen Staff Team Member at Cedar Point Sports Center located in Sandusky, OH.

 Opening in early 2020, Cedar Point Sports Center will be the Midwest's ultimate sports, events and entertainment destination located in Sandusky, Ohio along the scenic North Coast and beautiful Lake Erie. From sports tournaments to birthday parties to community events, this state-of-the-art facility will provide big league service and amenities coupled with the thrill of celebrating at Cedar Point, one of the world's best amusement park destinations.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Kitchen Staff Team Member will assist the chef and kitchen staff with the daily upkeep of the facility's kitchen.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Assist chef with with food preparation
  • Serves food in proper pre-determined portion sizes and at correct temperature
  • Maintains appearance of all equipment and serving counters
  • Maintains inventory in stock room
  • Cleans kitchen area before and after business hours
  • Scrubs, sanitizes, and stores pots and pans, utensils, and dishes
  • Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understand and follow both oral and written instructions
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Effective time management skills
  • Prior experience in food industry preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Able to tolerate extreme cold temperatures and extreme hot temperatures
  • Significant standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
  • The job is performed under significant temperature variations, a generally hazard free environment, and in a clean atmosphere
